Its Kentucky Derby Day and I couldn't be more excited. Both the jumpers I'm involved with are in race in stakes today, just an incredible start to my runners in 2022. Vallelujah races back tomorrow as well, a fantastic weekend on tap.

Oh yeah, the KY Derby! Wow, what a card assembled at Churchill Downs today, 14 races, 27 hours, it will never end. Fantastic sequences today and lots and lots of wagers. Pick your spots, you don't eat every appetizer on a menu, you don't need to bet every wager you can. They've added even more Multi-Race PK5's and PK3s, so there is something for everyone and I can't wait to play. 

I'm looking to score in the KY Derby too. My selection will go far under the radar and we have the biggest betting pools of the year to take advantage of. I'm normally a horizontal player so I'll be trying to get alive with PK5's - PK3s but this is one of the only days of the year I bet trifectas as it always pays way more than it should - and today will be no different, we're talking a possible lifetime score. Some interesting turf races today, my Best Bet is in the turfy 5th singles the Early PK5 and also like one in the 9th. Warming up quickly at Belmont as today is Day 3 but yesterday we lit up the board in the 1st as Top Pick Indian Bella scored $30.40 $15.60 $10.20 with the $125 exacta for every $1.

We also finished the Keeneland Meet in style scoring a Double Digit Top Pick Turf Winner in the last as Speaking Scout paid $13.20 $6.40 $4.80

Fantastic day of racing at Golden Gate Fields in San Francisco as I've completely handicapped races 8-11 with $100K PK5, $200K PK4 and PK3 wagers, boosting the pools ensuring proper rewards for wagering up there on one of the their bigger days. Really nice races and worth a long look.

He takes a nice drop in class to the bottom level in NY as he returns to the grass where he's won 6/18. He gets blinkers on and draws an advantageous inside post. Down the road.

Another fabulous day had by all Pick4win Players on Friday - at least it was there for you and I certainly took advantage pulling out buckets of money with a stretch of Top Picks & 2nd picks winning and cashing out some generous rolling tickets.

On Friday I tabbed 3 Top Pick Winners starting with Trinni Luck in the 3rd. We got put up in the 4th as Gal in a Rush paid $15.20 $6.60 $4.70 w/ the $28.50 exacta, $26.50 DD & $86.50 PK3 (all for $1) and we just kept rolling. My 2nd pick won the 5th cashing the $225.50 PK3 & $542 PK4 (again all for $1). Rocked out one more in the 6th as my 2nd pick won again cashing another PK3, this time $263.50 for every $1. I pressed on some sequences for multiple dollars and scored out. That's the 3rd enormous day since Travers Week and 2nd in last seven days as the fire continues Saturday.

For Saturday I've completely handicapped all 11 races from Belmont Park with Pick5, Pick4 and Pick3 wagers suggested. Like the turf races again at Belmont as the 3rd, 7th, 9th & 10th present opportunities to cash nice tickets including three of these races in Late PK5.

I've also handicapped race 6-11 from Woodbine as they have two G1 turf races whicj includes a Best Bet and some interesting races carded before that action unfolds. I've found a few maidens I like as well that are bound to provide fireworks. Lastly I've listed the Cross Country PK5 which will be a "bet it and forget it" as the Churchill races go off way after my bed time.

I love when Graham gets a European runner, gives them a few works right off the plane and gets them in the box - they're ready to roll. Welcomes back to the show that never ends. Its been a great week for turf racing as the Royal Ascot meet concludes this morning. Its very simple wagers but they bring such excitement. I scored right of the rip yesterday as Sandrine foughtit out paying $37.50 & $11.50 for victory. I got taken down in the 3rd which took some air out of the balloon. I had a few 2nds at solid prices after that. 

For Saturday I've completely handicapped all 7 races from Royal Ascot, Belmont Park 1-10 w/PK5 PK4 & PK3 wagers suggested. I'll be adding later this afternoon the Cross Country PK5 and the Woodbine Guaranteed $100K PK4 in races 4-7, trying that out like the Golden Hour to see if its playable.

She turns back to an extended sprint today where she has already excelled and should improve once again with the fitness from that route. She holds her own in the morning impressively with Oaks bound Travel Column so I think she's sitting on a lifetime best effort. Down the road.

Fantastic day to play on one of my favorite weekends. I still remember them running the Hollywood Derby late Sunday night, waiting all weekend for Good Reward, then crushing him, the exacta and trifecta for then a score of a lifetime. Well the Hollywood Turf festival at DelMar is underway and I really like the look of today's Hollywood Derby and I plan on making another score. Aqueduct race 4 - #1 HEROIC DEED - This 20/1 War Dancer gelding ships in for crafty barn to make his 2nd start. Curious debut had look of pure prep and indecisive 7 lb bug immediately took horse to rail and back to last, spurted off 1st turf to catch the pack and galloped along, dove inside for stretch run, and made up the ground galloping out in front by the turn. He gets a more experienced jock up today but still in light, saves all the ground from the hedge, inhales them down the lane for victory.

Hoping we get some turf action today as I've completely handicapped all 10 races from Aqueduct and races 7-11 at Churchill Downs with Pick5, Pick4 and Pick3 wagers suggested. Some turf stakes action at both tracks and neither have run turf races yet this week so hoping these stakes go. Also have the Cross Country PK5 that combines the CD and Aqueduct races.

Coming in two weeks is some of my favorite races every year, the Hollywood Turf Festival now benefiting Del Mar Thanksgiving weekend. Probably will hang on at Aqueduct into December as long as the turf remains but that seems grim. The Championship Meet at Gulfstream Park opens 12/5 so I won't be afraid to switch my tack once my cash cow opens. They have been getting enormous amounts of rain while the turf course has been rested, hopefully it responds with a lush, deep rooted course for 12/5.

Started my Aqueduct season with 8 Top Pick Winners from 18 races so far, a robust 44%. Like the races today regardless of the surfaces but looking forward to some turf racing somewhere this week. Took advantage of two straight Top Pick Winners yesterday to cash an overlaid PK3 and have made money both days on the wet surface at Aqueduct.

Aqueduct race 7 - #4 EAGLE ORB - This Orb colt has been running in stakes since her maiden win at Saratoga. He added blinkers and stretched out last time weakening late for 2nd but certainly improved her fitness level. An enormous weekend starts now as I've completely handicapped all 7 races from Royal Ascot to start the day. The best turf racing in the world continues through Saturday and I certainly have my opinions. Went against Stradivarius yesterday but should have just taken the favorite as he was way to much for them. I had Mountain Angel on top but after making final adjustments, eliminated him and was stopping my feet as he swept past for victory. I also had upgraded Highland Spirit in the 1st but not far enough as he lit up the tote with a $50 win. I had 5 winners over first two days, so I'm really seeing it well over there, just need things to fall into place - and that's today.

The Ascot races are not serious bets, more of actions bets as I make Win wagers and exactas depending on the prices. Really looking forward to today's races after getting skunked yesterday. 

As for Belmont park, I tabbed 3 Top Pick Winners from 10 Thursday races and have two very interesting turf horses today, each one singling its own PK5, one each early and late.

Today's has enormous promise and I'm looking to cash in on it. We also start the Two Day PK5 at Belmont, not that anyone else is talking about it whatsoever.

A Weekend Pass might be the best play this weekend as Saturday is looking very bright. Belmont Park race 2 - #11 MY ECLAIR - This Speightstown gelding debuted over the winter at Tampa Bay Downs trying to gather his speed at a turf then a route, weakening in both. After a 60 day freshening he returned to control the race from his outside post, let everyone break, gathered himself, then drew alongside and on out to the lead for victory. Getting the best speed rider in the colony in Kendrick Carmouche who should execute the same trip as last out for victory.

Another deep card awaits at Churchill Downs where I've honed in the last two weeks and have been pulling out winners at what seems like a very difficult start to the meet. I made some changes to my handicapping approach at CD and we're reaping the rewards.

Just yesterday I had 3 Top Pick Winners including a break out 2 yr old firster in Cazadero who simply crushed the field at a pretty nice mutual $12.60 $7.00 $3.40. Should of had a ice cold PK3 if it wasn't for a silly ride on Sugoi who missed by less than a half length, followed by Envoutante at $4.80 $3.60 $3.00 & the whopper who stumped many in Lexitonian $25.80 $7.60 $5.60 with the cold $95 exacta & $104 DD.

I do like the card today in KY as my Best Bet is in the 6th and nobody I've seen even mention her, I like those the best! My turf opinions will be well backed today as the 3rd, 6th, 9th & 11th are turf races I will be looking to key off of and around. Both those double digit winners yesterday were on the dirt so I'm looking to cash a nice running ticket today.

I also have the full card at Santa Anita and have a distinct plan for today, with a few races to build around where nice prices should be available.

Torrential rain all weekend at Gulfstream Park will limit the selections down there but once scratches & changes go up for today's races, I'll take a look at the Late PK5. If it looks worthy and presents some value, I'll post it. I am done with Gulfstream Park as my primary focus.

Saturday the fun really begins as Churchill Downs re-opens to jam packed fields with an All Star Cast of characters. With NY still closed, the will be a reverse Saratoga meet until NY comes back on line. Normally KY is closed so all those horses migrate to Saratoga, add in the sharp Mid-Atlantic shippers - and that's what makes Saratoga so competitive and tough. The reverse happens this year with NY closed, all the winter locales have stopped and horses have congregated at Churchill Downs. These races will now be the focus on America's Day at the Races telecasts which air Friday through Sunday from 1:30 to 8:30 on FS1. NBCSC also shows races Friday through Sunday showing the TVG broadcast - so lots of action on TV and I have you covered.

The races promise to be deep and competitive so that's where I'll be focused. They only have one turf course so I expect three turf races a day. On Saturday, one of the turf races drew 12 Starters, 8 Also Eligibles & excluded 22 other runners! 40 turf horses ready to go shows you how deep and fun these races will be. I'll have Santa Anita Park again on Saturday with Full Card Selections so we'll have plenty of action to make some money.

Santa Anita Race 1 - #4 PARTY TOWN - This gelded son of Cupid's Revenge by Shackleford had one race in 2020 but it was against the monster named Nadal. He regroups today at the proper class level as a first time gelding. He will be forwardly placed from the bell and should hold off the closers for victory to start the afternoon.

The weekend grass bonanza kicks off today as I have key turf selections at three different tracks.

For Aqueduct I've completely handicapped all 10 races with Pick5, Pick4 and Pick3 wagers suggested. The card picks up steam around the 5th and gives us solid value to wager for the rest of the card. My Best Bet at Aqueduct will be in the grassy Gio Ponte stakes.

Then - its Opening Day at Gulfstream Park. It will take a solid month for them to get up to full swing with northern shippers but we are close to the end of turf season in NY and Gulfstream is by far my most profitable and winning venue. I have races 6-10 handicapped for today with PK5, PK4  and PK3 wagers suggested. The 7th & 9th key turf races down there but 4 of the 5 in Late PK5 on turf.

Lastly, the Yielding turf at Churchill is calling me back, they call it Good, but they also lie. I have races 8-12 done for Churchill with the 9th the turf race in the sequence.

Lots of action today and the turf races are just heating up.
