Who bets at 3/5 ?

I don't understand where the money comes from.

I liked , well many people liked #11 No More Stress ($3.40) in the 6th at Aqueduct today who just won by a pole - but was hammered to 3/5 !! Who can make money with 3/5 ?? How much money do you need to bet to get any satisfaction at 3/5 ?? I would have been happy with $5 - seventy cents on the dollar isn't a return on investment - it the exchange rate on Canadian money!
