I feel like Noah during the Holiday break in NY. Thanks goodness , its back to business as usual.
I really love a horse on each coast today. First in NY,
Aqueduct race 7 - #5 Thunder Buddy - I gave Scott Lake a lot of shit basically because he deserved it thru the years. Since the ' detention barns' in NY , he gave up the circuit till this year, when Repole Stable wanted him to relocate. He couldn't win at Saratoga for years , the open barns were there for the whole world to see Mr Lake's talents , but no. So now , back in the steroid free racing , Mr Lake's win percentage has gone from 30% + to now in the low 20% ... Hmmm , it doesn't leave much to the imagination..
BUT now, he is reborn with a 40% winning percentage in NY , so the chemists are keeping up with the times. So I love Thunder Buddy. I used to love when he claimed a speed horse, they always got BETTER. Plus , he is a Thunderello , who was a freak trained by Mr Lake.
At Santa Anita - race 7 - #6 Congor Bay is my other play. Wonderful grass breeding and in very good hands.
Good luck and Happy Holidays.
