I have much confidence in my anchor leg selection at Aqueduct and he's 8/1 + on the Morning Line. My Santa Anita selection is 12/1 + on the Morning Line and I feel the turf will help him show his best today.

Aqueduct race 7 - #1 Pearl of Wisdom - was ridden all wrong last time and not to the directions the jock was given. She has more speed than she showed and doesn't like to be inside horses so I anticipate her either being in front today or easing off the rail and rating outside of horses. Owners sold off 120 horses and kept 15 and she was one of the keepers. She will show you why today.

We finished up yesterday with 5 Listed Winners from 7 races with one of my Best Bets crushing her competition ~ Gulfstream race 6 - #1 It's Me Mom $6.80 $4.80 & $4.00, those were outstanding payouts across the board.
For Sunday I have 5 races handicapped including 4 @ Gulfstream Park and 1 @ Aqueduct. Visit www.pick4win.com to purchase today's selections. A good race to watch but with no real wagering opportunities at Gulfstream is the 3 yr old prep the Gr3 Holy Bull Stakes with only 6 horses entered.

Gulfstream race 7 - #4 Big Screen - another Derby prep on the Gulfstream card will have a big favorite in Casual Trick for Nick Zito. Zito never cranks up his horses early so there is a very good chance he regresses here or runs a flat race, he shouldn't move forward explosively. Conversely, Big Screen has never taken a backward step, always moving forward which is unusual for his trainer. He also drops back in distance after going 9 furlongs last out so he will be dead fit for this, plus has two sharp bullets in tow. Surprise package.

Zenyatta John's 2012 Double Derby Dozen #1

The 1st ZJ's Double Derby Dozen for 2012 is finally here. I have 24 colts or geldings with another 6-8 on the ready in case they make the jump in the next few months. Some of these have started their respective 3 yr old campaigns, while other are still legging up for the challenge. So here we go!
ZJ's Double Derby Dozen - List #1
1. APLHA - by the next super sire Bernardini, returned with Lasix and a wide trip overcoming a slow pace to win, needed a pony to pull him up. Will run all day.
2. UNION RAGS - very impressive colt for Mr Matz had a wide trip running 2nd in the BC Juvy.
3. O'PRADO AGAIN - won Remsen impressively showing ability to run, wait, then run some more.
4. HANSEN - speed ball finished 3/3 last season winning the BC Juvy.
5. SABERCAT - is 3/3 around two turns punching his ticket winning the Delta Jackpot.
6. OUT OF BOUNDS - won the Sham impressively around two turns 1/7.
7. DISCREET DANCER - untested, but has yet to go two turns.
8. CASUAL TRICK - just lost 3 yr old debut by a head, but screws were not tight at all for Zito.
9. CREATIVE CAUSE - had impressive 2 yr old season.
10. LIAISON - Victory Gallop colt for Mr Baffert, sire beat Real Quiet denying him Triple Crown.
11. STEPHANOATSEE - bred for Classics, nice 3 yr old debut in Count Fleet.
12. EVER SO LUCKY - Indian Charlie colt for Mr Sheppard, screws yet to be turned.
13. HIERRO - Mr Asmussen very high on him, was rank in the Sham making 3 yr old debut.
14. SOUPER SPEEDY - another Bernardini, beaten less than a length in Remsen.
15. LONGVIEW DRIVE - more distance the better, showed guts in Sham.
16. MANAGED ACCOUNT - Malibu Moon colt has already won around two turns.
17. GEMOLOGIST - speedy Pletcher colt only getting two preps for Derby.
18. TAKE CHARGE INDY - extremely well bred colt will excel further he goes.
19. ALGORITHMS - another Pletcher colt unbeaten in 2 starts.
20. SO BRILLIANT - Bafferts next best chance for the Derby.
21. EXFACTOR - Exchange Rate colt gearing up for his 3 yr old debut.

I had 4 Listed winners from 7 races Saturday including the race 10 stake at Gulfstream where my 4th choice nailed my top choice on the wire in a 3 horse photo. Heavenly Landing paid $40.80 $13.00 & $9.60 with the $257 exacta and with my 2nd choice winning of the next race, Age of Exploration $13.00 $6.40 & $5.40 - the $437 Daily Double.

Gulfstream race 5 - #2 Qualionne - was a tip from my clocker last out who had watched him train all fall in NY, got off to a tangled beginning and flew home for second. Faces nothing really today, but his 10/1 price will plummet to the favorite, but should win for fun.

We had one nice winner yesterday as my 2nd choice in Gulfstream rc10 #1 Senator Beck won paying $22.40 $13.00 & $10.00.
I have 7 races handicapped for Saturday available on www.pick4win.com including 5 @ Gulfstream Park and one each at Aqueduct and Santa Anita including all of the 3 yr old stakes and allowance races.
For today's Free Pick ~
Aqueduct rc8 - The Count Fleet Stakes - #1 IL VILLANO - draws the rail which is good for this colt who is the main speed. Has sharp works for this without an extended layoff like some of his main rivals. He is bred for distance, if he can slow down the fractions, should have plenty to kick home for the victory.
