Not the best day yesterday as the races lacked class and quality THEN got worse taken off the turf after the storm on Tuesday night.
I had 1 Top pick Winner through 9 races and 3 brutal 2nds in a row.
Heavenly Sis at 13/1 was too far back but got 2nd and the $58 exacta ($1)
Winston's Chance at 7/1 got passed late but held 2nd and the $28 exacta
Espresso Shot was the 3rd choice in a four horse field also got 2nd
For Thursday I've completely handicapped all 9 races with Pick5, Pick4 and Pick3 wagers suggested. The card gets a little better today but still dotted with some cheaper races but we will be back on turf today which always makes it more interesting.
Excited to get back on the beam today, the 5th race is the key to the whole afternoon as it ends the Early PK5 and starts the Late PK5 - and it's my Best Bet with my kinda horse.

Saratoga race 2 - #4 GRUDGE - This Palace Malice filly makes her 2nd start of the meet after returning on the dirt six weeks earlier, so fitness may have been a question. She enters on an up-cycle as her last three races all faster and getting better so the added fitness of her 1st start of the meet sshould make her dead fit for this. Cancel just needs to get her on the lead without a hassle and she will take these on a merry chase through the wire.
