It's the 1st Saturday in May and we're making the best of it. It is Arkansas Derby Day at Oaklawn Park as they finish their season with an amazing 14 races card full of competitive deep races.

I have handicapped all 14 with Pick5, Pick4 and Pick3 wagers suggested. I've also handicapped races 7-12 from Gulfstream park with Pick5, Pick4 and Pick3 wagers suggested as they back-loaded the turfraces so we are not missing any action. My Best Bet on turf is in race 9 so I'll be making tickets coming and going and a nice win wager as well.

The Oaklawn card takes the place of Churchill Downs where last year that cheater Jason Servis juiced Maximum Security and Luis Saez dangerously took out half the field before Country House was declared the winner. But no such bullshit today. Jason is waiting his turn for jail and we have a fantastic betting card on tap. Pick your spots, don't try to bet them all. Can't wait to play - let's gamble!

He lost to a real nice horse in his turf debut after drawing extremely wide and making a big run for 3rd. He picks up Emesial Jaramillo today who should establish a forward position and simply kicks away late.

Oaklawn Park race 1 - #2 FULL OF GRACE - This Strong Mandate filly makes her 3rd start of the season which should put her at optimal fitness for this race. She should establish a forwardly placed spot from the bell while making an aggressive move under Talamo off the turn for the lead, holding on for victory to start the afternoon in Hot Springs.
