Belmont race 2 - #3 PIERCE'S PRIZE - This Jimmy Ryerson trained gelded son of Sky Mesa comes off a short freshening after racing in July at Saratoga. He drops to the bottom of the class latter today for the 1st time. The only other time he raced for a tag he won off the layoff setting a blistering pace. I think the track will still be wet enough to help carry his speed right to the winners circle.
