Free Gulfstream Horse Pick for Sunday 3/9 from Zenyatta John

A great day of racing action Saturday, but the races didn't exactly turn out as I would have liked. We had a successful run at Santa Anita hitting a few Pick3's, but the longer shots I was trying to get home lost to some runaway favorites.

An interesting day is shaping up for Sunday as I have races 6-11 completely handicapped from Gulfstream Park.

For Sunday's Free Pick ~

Gulfstream race 5 - #4 CONSOLE - this well bred horse was claimed from Bill Mott in January and makes his 1st start for Mike Maker today who hits at a 22% win rate off the claim. He stretches out to a mile for the second time in his life and has shown big speed in some races prior in his career. The biggest tip off to me that he is on his toes and ready to roll is his bullet 46 workout breezing last week in prep for this, as Maker doesn't usually work them fast ever. I expect Javy to push on the gas out of the gate and take them wire to wire.
