Zenyatta John's Double Kentucky Derby Dozen #5

OK,

Lots of moving and shaking on the DDD this week. I might have had 6 horses drop off completely and some interesting new horses where added. Interesting because two of my new additions are taking the Animal Kingdom/ Paddy O' Prado trail which includes the Palm Beach stakes on grass and the Blue Grass stakes on the Polytrack at Keeneland and might never race on dirt prior to the run for the roses.

So here we go - ZJ's DDD #5

1. UNION RAGS - super freaky return to the races, will only get better.

2. ALPHA - moves down one spot, still believe he's special.

3. OUT OF BOUNDS - Cali's best with stakes earnings.

4. SABERCAT - has enough earnings, just needs to get started.

5. EL PADRINO - gutty win on dry track in Risen Star stakes.

6. TAKE CHARGE INDY - needs a few good races, then lookout.

7. CREATIVE CAUSE - nice return, galloped out strong.

8. HANSEN - takes blinkers off in Gotham.

9. BODEMEISTER - galloped out in 1:48 for 9 furlongs still makes me smile.

10. SIR BOND - returns 3/2 in allowance at FG as prep for Louisiana Derby.

11. FED BIZ - needs a little more experience and graded earnings.

12. I'LL HAVE ANOTHER - awaiting Santa Anita Derby.

13. EXOTHERMIC - exploded twice on turf, ya never know till they try dirt.

14. HOWE GREAT - has Sunday Silence in 2nd generation, grass colt now.

15. LIAISON - too soon to toss him, nice mile work last week.

16. MY ADONIS - Pleasently Perfect colt steps into Gotham, training lights out.

17. MARK VALESKI - Mr Jones is raving still after 2nd in Risen Star.

18. PRINCESS ARABELLA - filly with a future.

19. NEWS PENDING - ran Discreet Dancer into the ground and right off the DDD.

20. BATTLE HARDENED - Tampa Bay Derby awaits his return.

21. GEMOLOGIST - Pletcher best Derby chance, bringing along slowly.

22. PAYNTER - bred like champion for ten furlongs.

23. PROSPECTIVE - well bred colt just missed in Tampa Bay Derby prep.

24. ROUSING SERMON - needs to put some strong races together and move forward.

There you go! ZJ's Double Kentucky Derby Dozen #5 in the books.
