Aqueduct rc2 - #5 Crossbow - (scratched into) WON - $2.50 $2.10 & $2.10 with the $6.70 exacta.

Aqueduct rc3 - #4 Breathoffreshheir - WON - $6.90 $3.50 & $2.70 with the $8.40 Double.

Santa Anita rc4 - #8 Red Defense - WON - $7.00 $4.20 & $3.80 ...

We were short on selections but made the most of them. A very nice weekend of stakes action awaits this weekend as Gulfstream Park will be open and have some nice races carded.

I may update the ZJ's Double Derby Dozen as I have made a few more changes. After watching videos of lots of contenders , I made some adjustments in order plus added a new very exciting prospect for Shug McGauhey - Break Up The Game. After years of chasing 'older' stallions, the Phipps' have been seeking new blood the last few years. Out of Pennant Champion (Private Account) by fantastic 2nd year sire Bernardini , this colt showed tremendous talent in his only start to miss by a nose. That is against the grain for Shug's horses since they are never fully cranked up for their debuts and this bad boy had such a great stride. The mare has horses that want two turns so the match with Bernardini produced a wonderful colt who will get better with distance for sure.
