A nice weekend of racing awaits as does the rain here on the East Coast. We start our final round of Breeders Cup preps this weekend on both coasts - we only need the weather to cooperate.

I anticipated today's Belmont races to be a washout as rain is expected steadily from 9:00 AM until 2:30 per the Weather Channel. So I've completely handicapped today's Belmont races with Pick5, Pick4 and Pick3 wagers suggested - all for dirt. If by chance they race on turf, I'll update the selections and make an announcement.

I also have Opening Day at Santa Anita today as I've handicapped races 6-9 with Pick4 and Pick3 wagers as the downhill Daytona stakes is being run in split divisions and I like a horse to upset in both divisions. Looking forward to that Pick4 for sure.

Belmont race 8 - #11 GET JETS - This Tony Dutrow trained son of Scat Daddy makes his 2nd start off the layoff and comes right back in less than two weeks. Tony is very high on this colt as he should be being a stakes winner last year. If the rain pours down as expected, I can see this colt adoring the wet surface and drawing away for an easy victory.
