For today's Free Pick, I've decided to give out the race most people will have trouble with - The Breeders' Cup Marathon.

Santa Anita race 6 ~ BC Marathon ~ Starting with some simple stats, no European horse has ever won this race on dirt and I don't expect London Bridge to be any factor whatsoever and he is going to be short odds for some reason. He floundered on the track yesterday, not handling the dirt at all. No horse has ever won this race wire to wire and with three speeds in here, they probably will add to that statistic. I settled on #6 INDIAN JONES. This horse must be jumping out of his skin as this trainer never ships this far, period. He makes his 3rd start off the layoff, so he's tight and ready to roll. He just missed at 12 furlongs off the layoff, so the 14 furlongs seems well within his scope. I expect him to make his move into the last turn and win at a generous price.
