Free Horse Picks Saratoga - Day 6

After yesterday stuffing my pockets with money - we'll wade back into the pools today looking for another big withdrawal. I have all 10 races available for today's Saratoga race card - including a zero star pick on the Steeplechase. These can be entertaining but when any horse can leave the course or fall down - it's very hard to take seriously in the wagering. While once in a while I do find a juicy nugget ( I once called a friend in Connecticut to bet a evening jump race at Garden State Park!!!) - but today it's nothing special, hence Zero stars.

As for Free Picks -

Saratoga rc4 - #1 Decelerator - has raced in 11 straight stakes races since breaking her maiden first out - today's race seem like a nice drop in class. Gets the soft hands of Calvin Borel - should be able to rate her behind a few cheap speeds and unleash a powerful move to draw away down the stretch.

Saratoga rc6 - #10 D'Bigcat - has always had talent as my clocker gave him to me last year, now gets claimed by Rudy Rodrigeuz who seems to have the hands of God once horses come into his barn. Rudy worked for years as an exercise rider for Rick Dutrow - and this is the money move for Dutrow - jamming the horse down the claiming ladder. It seems like something must be wrong to claim for $25,000 and drop immediately for $10,000 - but I say BET OUT!! He will win by 6 lengths!!
