Its Travers Day in Saratoga Springs, the Mid-Summer Derby as it once was called but now signifies the end of summer as races will shift into the fall preps heading towards Breeders Cup.

But for now, what a fantastic card to wager on today as I've completely handicapped all 13, yes 13 races with Pick5, Pick4 and Pick3 wagers suggested. There are many wagers available today, pick your spots, take your swings and try to score but don't play over your head.

I really like the card today. I have selections in the Travers and the Allen Jerkens (King's Bishop) that both should pay upwards of $15 which will lead to wonderful payouts everywhere. I have only one favorite winning the last eight races! That means I'm against Lady Eli, Songbird, or both!

It's going to be a memorable day as new three year olds will step forward and take charge of their division and we're gonna cash some nice tickets along the way.

Saratoga race 7 - #5 CARINA MIA - This Malibu Moon filly makes her 2nd start off the layoff and for Chad Brown. She endured a tough trip last and still found a way to win. I fully expect her to move forward today with a better effort. She gets plenty of pace up front today, should be able to sit back and blow past them all down the stretch for victory.
