Felt like a 3rd rate boxer yesterday in the ring with Mike Tyson - enduring body shot after body shot while hoping to land a good punch. I did select 3 Top Pick Winners from 14 races including my Best Bet from Santa Anita - Dreamologist, but was haunted by a few bad decisions which ran 2nd. I reached too far for a winner and placed Manchurian High 2nd as "the one to beat" not knowing he'd come close to the $17 he paid to win, thought he'd be in the $7 range.

But, we're horse players. You wake up, turn the page, and step back up to the plate to swing away.

Hoping the rain dissipates without killing the races from Gulfstream today as I've completely handicapped races 1-11 with Pick5, Pick4, Pick3 and Off Turf Picks provided plus Santa Anita race 9 as I can't help but swing away at those down the hill turf races.

Gulfstream race 7 - #2 TEAM COLORS - This son of Street Cry goes 2nd off the layoff for Jimmy Jerkens after just missing in a turf stake last out. He drops back down in class while trying the dirt for the 1st time and is well bred for the switch, even more so if it does come up wet. He has also gotten some very favorable comments from Bruno who's witnessed his works down at Palm Meadows. I fully expect him to make short work of this field as a Co-Best Bet of the Day.
