OK,
We kick off the Championship Meet today at Gulfstream Park which has become my 2nd home after Saratoga. I've had some very good success there over the past number of years as the turf races can be inscrutable to most but fits my style and eye very well. The only thing that bothers me are some of the races are so cheap, it becomes extremely tough to handicap as they have zero form. I will try my best to add some other races or selections for Spot Plays as the days go forward.
I had 1 Top Pick Winner on Friday plus 5 Listed Winners. My Best Bet ran 3rd on the 6th race after a very wide trip around the far turn or we would have cashed both Pick4 tickets listed, but we did still land the Late Pick3 which was generous after favorites won the last two races.
Aqueduct race 7 - #3 MANHATTAN MISCHIEF $12.40 $6.60 & $4.90
We have 11 races today from Gulfstream which I've completely handicapped with Pick5, Pick4 and Pick3 wagers suggested. We are Off the Turf for races 1,5, and 8 but thankfully still ON the Turf for races 3 and 10.
The races at GP set up better than NY as they have a Pick5 for the last 5 races of the day then rolls into the Late Pick4. Most times I will not list an early Pick5 which is new this season, but you should be able to put it together if that is what you're looking to bet.
Today's races are very deep in competition and always prove to be competitive and tough. I'll be trying to run some tickets out using the turf races they left on while observing any track trends or biases.
Also available from your Member Account are RacingWithBrunos Workout Reports for Gulfstream, Tampa Bay, Fair Grounds and the All Track Combo. Bruno has recently upgraded his computer programs and is offering better workout information than ever. It becomes essential to me as so many horses in the winter are coming off layoffs or starting for the first time and the only way to accurately judge how they fit into the race is a workout report which details all morning activity captured.
Visit Pick4win.com to purchase today's selections or grab one of Bruno's Reports.
For Saturday's Free Pick ~
Gulfstream race 6 - #7 STALLWALKIN' DUDE - This 5 yr old City Place gelding actually raced in the Breeders' Cup Sprint two races ago and was only beaten 4 lengths to Runhappy who'd win this race by 10. He endured a troubled trip last time as the winner put a lot of horses in a jackpot. He takes a huge drop in class from the BC, gets some serious pace up front to set up his strong late run. Should cruise to victory for Jake.
The very best of luck.
