The day is here, KY Derby Day 2015. The race itself is set up for greatness. If my horse gets a clean trip, the world will stop in awe as he should crush the Derby field by open lengths. I had a dream he went in 1:58 and change. Stay tuned, its gonna be a memorable day.

For Saturday, I have completely handicapped races 2-12 at Churchill Downs with Pick5, Pick4, Pick3 and Trifecta wagers suggested. I'm not normally a Trifecta player, but with the enormous amounts of money in today's pools, the Derby trifecta is well worth playing. I have laid out four different trifecta part-wheels, with two being slightly deeper than the others. Same trifecta strategy that delivered us the $3400+ trifecta with Orb in 2013. Deeper pocketed players can also dive into Superfectas, but they are $1 increments today, so that will get expensive.

The undercard races are very good too. I have a few places today where I've taken a stand, then throw in a few juicy turf winners and we should be looking at a very rewarding gambling day even before the Derby post time arrives.
