We continued a powerful roll Saturday with 4 Top Pick Winners and 6 Listed Winners for 10 Total Winners from the 15 races I handicapped. We also scored some good exotics for the box players including exactas paying $43, $67, $79, $84.50, and $256.50.

My best bet of the day was Real Solution in the Arlington Million who I made a 4.5 Star Play, not too shabby on a 1-5 Star scale. Real Solution made a powerful run, just got nipped on the wire and I thought my streak of seconditis was continuing. But they hung the 'Objection' sign and within minutes, they place Real Solution 1st return a generous $18.80 $8.60 & $6.20.

During my jubilation, I was tweeting up a storm and told anyone who would listen to bet some of those winnings back in the Del Mar Oaks on Discreet Marq shipping east for Christophe Clement. Well this filly did not disappoint either and she exploded around the far turn and won as much the best returning a healthy $11.40 $6.20 & $4.40. I made two good win wagers on those two horses and that covered any losses from Saratoga plus put a healthy cushion on my wagering account.

Saratoga race 6 - #9 Smokin Candy - this gelding was re-claimed by Dominic Galluscio 36 days ago, which is a strong indicator as once a horse gets claimed away, not many trainers reach in to claim them back, so he must like this horse. He returns 'out of jail' in same condition for which he had to sit out 30 days, and comes right back once that period is up. He is a two turn specialist and has run some of his best races for this outfit. Should be able to sit a cozy trip and power home off the far turn for victory.
