It's Opening Day at Tampa Bay Downs today which offers competitive racing and an excellent turf course. I also will be making my first selection at Remington Park today as one of my Top Ten Derby contenders races tonight in their closing day feature, a 10:42 PM Eastern post time.
I have 8 picks total available today on www.pick4win.com or e-mail me at jackstraw@pick4win.com , those selections include 3 @ Aqueduct , 3 @ Tampa Bay , and one each from Hollywood Park and Remington Park. Included in the Aqueduct selections is a 4 Star Double in races 7-8.
As for Free Picks -
Aqueduct rc3 - #3 Promovedor Glory - makes 1st start on dirt and first for new trainer who took over all of owners horses last summer , dam has 3 dirt route wins and sire was a G1 winner on dirt as well. Price will be right , taking a swing with this one.
Hollywood rc9 - #5 Turbulent Decent - is in my second half of my Derby Dozen but could jump into the Top 10 with another electrifying performance she should deliver today. No worries what so ever about going a route first time, this is a very special filly.
