Free Horse Picks - 11/14

Sunday November 14th -

A very nice day shaping up in NY today both weather wise and race wise. It's gonna be almost 60 degrees here in Saratoga so it may approach 70 in NYC. I had a hard time choosing selections for today, not because I couldn't find any , frankly I had TOO many. I chopped off the opener at the Big A and my two Hollywood selections and focused on NY and CD.

It's been a good few days of racing for me - and I have a feeling its gonna keep going. For today , I have 5 @ Aqueduct and 3 @ Churchill Downs. Aqueduct rc4 - #11 Inflation Hedge - goes second off the layoff for very sharp trainer of babies, sire is red hot on grass producing $55 winner yesterday ,beat by freak in debut and only beaten less than 5 lengths in turf debut. Get a firmer course and had solid works for today. Bombs Away!

Churchill Downs rc5 - #12 Grigio - stuck on outside but Calvin will have him on the hedge with 10 strides so ground loss won't be an issue, just missed to Stakes winner in last maiden race and had no chance when thrown to the wolves in stake as Soldat ran a hole in the wing over the concrete turf at Saratoga that day. Will be overlooked based on his last running line, price should be juicy , look out for Calvin Bo -Rail in the stretch!
