Free Horse Picks - 11/13

Saturday November 13th -

Well, an interesting day of racing shaping up for today. I have plays everywhere today so get yourself tied on. I have 8 selections available on www.pick4win.com - or email me for details. Included in today's selections are 4 races @ Aqueduct, 2 @ Churchill Downs , and one each at Woodbine and Hollywood Park.

Coming soon to HP & HP will be guest commentary and selections from equine expert Crystal Conway - who will add a delightful and  intelligent female point of view on my normally testosterone fueled blog entries. LOL ....

I was chatting this morning with Crystal and started browsing Twitter to see 'who follows who'. If you don't follow me at www.twitter.com/pick4win your missing out. But as I was scrolling down I spotted a turf writer from the NY Post - John DaSilva. So I click on it to see what he was up to and low and behold - I WAS BLOCKED!  That is funny! I don't know the man and can't remember insulting him (although it may have happened) but to block lil ole me - That made my day!  It got me jacked up. I haven't yet left the house to get today's copy of the Post, which I do read everyday for the horse section. I love Ed Fountaine - he is intelligent, informative,  and picks good winners. Not like that mush DaSilva, I cringe when that mush is onto my selections. Nonetheless DaSilva seems to only follow blond beauties on Twitter who babble about nothing -but he's focused on racing!

Onward to today's Free Picks -

Aqueduct rc7 - #9 Groomedforvictory - returns of short layoff to his favorite race track with 2 wins and 2 seconds from 5 starts. He drops for a tag for 1st time which is huge, keeps Ramon , and his last 4 workouts are spectacular.

Churchill rc9 - #3 Dark Cove - is 12/1 morning line for good reason, favorite will be extremely tough. First he was claimed from Nick Zito who really couldn't train a dog to sit - and rips off three straight wins after leaving dog trainers barn. He is unbeaten on the weeds and tuned up for this with a Poly run at Keeneland. Jock is on high of his life after winning two BC races last weekend. Nails the favorite on the wire.

The very best of luck!
