This was the best thing that happened Thursday - Rachel schooling in the paddock. She is in very deep Saturday and I doubt very much she can win. They 'won't let her win'. If that asshole Jerry Bailey was still riding and was riding against her - I would guarantee Jerry would ride just to gut her like he did to champion Azeri a few years ago here at the Spa. I ran to get in his face for that asinine ride and we exchanged pleasantries till Pinkertons separated us. If Rachel does win and survives being gutted because they are going to make her run every step of the way- she will be a super horse and also will be done for the year.
Some asshole rides today at the Spa - Kent Dirtbag on Timber Reserve who was basically eased around the track without an ounce of perseverance to try to win for which I told him about it in the paddock before the next race when I asked Kent if he was easing Big Brown or Timber Reserve out there and what the fuck was Mike Luzzi doing going 46 and change on Cagey Girl ? Hey asshole ! Its a race to the wire not the far turn !!
