I actually have several strong opinions on Saturdays Traver's card. I actually have a 10 Star play against a BIG favorite and a 5 Star play at big odds on the turf. Only one other time ever that I gave more than 5 Stars for ANY selection.

Say, would it be eerie if Alex Le Great and Rose won the premiere baby race of Travers day when Afleet Alex and Rose won it (the Hopeful then) just a few races before Birdstone won the Travers in the deluge....and now...Summer Bird follows Alex Le Great?? That would be too strange. I go against the cosmic history repeats itself angle this year anyway...the repeaters just dont seam to be stacking up in the big races....
Not just Afleet Alex , but Glitterman on the bottom side with superior speed and love for slop ... did you see the works for that colt ? On the dirt at Fairhill ? He has to be special ..
