Free Horse Picks - 2/19

Thursday 2/19 -

Well , I had three stable-mail horses pop up for Thursday. Two are in the 8th at Gulfstream but I'll talk about the other one first.

Gulfstream race 2 - #3 Freedom Bay - I got $21 last summer during Mr Kimmels amazing run of 7 straight winners saddled at Saratoga. Think about that , its a hall of fame worthy feat, just like The AntMan's consecutive day win streak - Bless your soul Chris Antley , I will always remember your talent and perseverance. But "Bays' been working well , short field - short price. Bet at 5/2 or better .

Gulf race 8- This is the 1 1/8 mile prep for the Florida Derby as the Fountain of Youth, now at a flat mile, is on Saturday. This really should be an outstanding betting race. You never know who is going to 'jump up' as 3 yr olds can blossom in two weeks or less.

I am betting #4 They're Late. There seems like a lot of speed and most of the speed is going 2 turns today for the first time. He is going 2nd off the layoff, he galloped out like a freight train last time, and should excell at the two turns.
