ZJ's Derby Dozen 2011 - #11

Well -

A few more changes this week the ZJ's Derby Dozen. Dropped were Rogue Romance who's now off the trail with a foot injury and Bandbox who is pointing for the Preakness.

Added this time were The Factor who won his two turn debut in the Rebel, but clearly have doubts he will excel at 10 furlongs getting banged around in a 20 horse field. Also added was Alternation - who hopefully will be back soon from gate mishap at Oaklawn.

Here we go ZJ's Derby Dozen #11 -

1. JAYCITO - will get a lot of of last and is coming to face Uncle Mo in the Wood.

2. TO HONOR AND SERVE - blossoming as I write, can't wait for FLA Derby.

3. MUCHO MACHO MAN - will run all day into tomorrow, Louisiana Derby steam.

4. SOLDAT - took dirt in face last work so will rate and has plenty of bottom.

5. PREMIER PEGASUS - So Cal's new leader in the clubhouse.

6. UNCLE MO - next version of Favorite Trick?

7. DIALED IN - don't know if 2 turns is what he's looking for right now.

8. BREAK UP THE GAME - Shug's big boy, hoping for a stake race next start for $$.

9. THE FACTOR - this years Eightyfiveinafifty , will need to be next coming of Bid to win the Derby.

10. ELITE ALEX - scratched from Rebel, drew outside in Louisiana Derby, but has more stretch to run.

11. SANTIVA - impressed with return - next?

12. SWAY AWAY - lost tooth in gate mishap in Rebel, complete toss out.

13. TOBY'S CORNER - redirected to The Wood , sire Bellemy Road's Wood still fresh in my mind.

14. ALTERNATION - has won around 2 turns a few times, but freaked in gate and scratched from Rebel.

That's it for now - don't forget to add your three new runners in The Road To The Roses Contest.... What a shit weekend as I plummeted from 26th in the WinStar Contest to 228! Ouch.  I have a few more bullets up my sleeve and want that free trip to the Derby and Oaks. My closest RTTR stable is something like 6298 -lol - but I believe there is well over 75,000 stables.

And out.
