Rain, rain and more rain. Tossed a monkey wrench in things mid-day. Things may still be a tad damp today but really looking forward to the races.
For Thursday I've completely handicapped all 10 races from Saratoga with Pick5, Pick4 and Pick3 wagers suggested. The 1st races is a jump race listed for exhibition purposes, serious wagering not required or recommended but a small win bet for rooting interests always acceptable.
I have one for today, in the Early PK5, a very well meant and intended first time starter who is on my list and I can't wait to bet. I will be using as a single in one of two PK5 plays. Some other opportunities for good sequences regardless of the surface. Let's cash some tickets.

Saratoga race 2 - #5 RUDY ROD - Surprisingly this Rudy Rod trained son of Orb raced the last three starts on turf while trying a distance of ground. He returns today as a 1st time gelding while getting back on the dirt, regrouping at 6 furlongs sprinting with Irad Ortiz taking over. Should sit a stalking trip drawing off down the lane.
