Keeneland opened with a splash yesterday but unfortunately all we did was get wet. That is the essence of deep tough races though, have an opinion, take a swing and you'll be rewarded if correct, much like Saratoga.

Today is a great day of racing across America with the last round of Derby preps as the Bluegrass, The Wood and The Santa Anita derby are all being run this afternoon - meaning we will have an even muddier Derby picture by 8PM.

For Saturday I've completely handicapped all 11 Keeneland races with some great turf races and stakes plus the Wood Memorial from Aqueduct and the Santa Anita Derby from the Great Race Place. I'm excited to play today as I have a 4 Star Best Bet and two 3 Star Plays (two of which should be over $15) smack dab in the middle of today's card so I'll be building tickets in and around those plays looking to cash out.

Keeneland race  8 - #1 PAID UP SUBSCRIBER - This daughter of Candy Ride makes her 1st start today for the Chad Brown barn after last racing in October. She starts the season turning back from 9 furlongs to today's one turn 7 furlong sprint, and it looks like this might be a perfect distance. She has been keeping only the best of company, so she has a class edge here. She is training lights out for this, I'm expecting her to sit a pocket trip and blow these away capping a big day for Chad Brown.
