We got off to a solid start Friday on Opening Day at Saratoga as my first two selections both ran 2nd.

Saratoga race 1 - #1 Royal Posse $6.50 & $4.30 w/ the $35.20 exacta & $78 trifecta

Saratoga race 2 - #6 Here Comes Rosie $6.20 & $4.60 w/ the $45 exacta

Life almost got real interesting real fast in the 3rd. My top choice was #9 Saratoga By Design who went off at 14/1. As he spurted away mid-stretch opening two lengths, I got very excited trying to get him home. They collapsed on him two jumps from the wire, ended up 3rd beaten a half length.

Coming right back in the 4th race, we cashed out first Top Pick Winner of the meet -

Saratoga 4th #4 OFF THE TRACKS - $19.60 $8.60 $5.50 with the stone cold $122 exacta

So, we were all around it early, if we had gotten a tad luckier, could have made a score right out of the gate.

For Saturday, I have completely handicapped Saratoga races 1-11 with Pick5, Pick4, and Pick3 wagers suggested. My Co-Best Bet today I've read all over the internet how nobody likes her, I can't wait to take a nice swing. Some other very nice races today, looking to string together a nice ticket today.

Saratoga race 6 - #4 RUN FOR LOGISTICS - This Bernstein gelding was claimed in his 1st start of the year by Leo O'Brien who previously trained Fourstadave. Mr O'Brien immediately put this well bred gelding on turf and he has a win and two 2nds since, finding a new lease on life. He puts son-in-law Johnny Velazquez up today, I see him getting a great trip then opening up on them in late stretch for victory.
