A very nice weekend of races gets underway today with some solid races from Belmont Park. I have a few horses running today I either bet & won with and seem certain to win right back or horses off troubled trips who just might surprise. That's half of what the Saratoga meet brings - horses to play back without the Saratoga spotlight so you can actually get decent prices.

Saturday will be a huge day. I will have Spot Plays from Woodbine as they are running many turf stakes, Kentucky Downs is running more races with deep fields on turf, plus I may make my first selection ever from Canterbury Park as they run the Mystic Lake Derby on turf. Great weekend to grab a Weekend Pass and play along all weekend.

Belmont race 3 - #4 ELOQUENT TRIBUTE - most race goers will make a 'Moto' pick here and take one of the fillies that has started. Not me. This first time starter from Rudy Rod is very live. She's a very well bred filly who's mare won 2/3 sprinting and has dropped 5 winners from 6 foals. She shows a huge workout on 8/25 which is a flashing green light as Rudy does not work them fast on purpose. I expect her to drill this group today in her first lifetime start.
