We are starting to heat up as we've switched our main venue back to Gulfstream Park for the winter. The racing in NY is as horrible as the politics, I haven't even looked at a race there in weeks.

This weekend will be well worth the Weekend Pass. I have some interesting selections today. I have a 20/1 shot on top in a grass race and see almost every favorite getting beat except a few. Saturday I will have my first (5 Star) selection in months. The same angle that led me to making Beholder my selection for the Distaff even before they drew the race points me to this selection which I am very much looking forward to betting.

Gulfstream race 7 - #14 C Zee - this colt is 6/1 on the Morning Line and makes his 2nd lifetime start while coming in fresh off a layoff for this effort. He ran in a fast race in his debut just missing by a nose to a repeat winner. He has some big works over the deep Calder surface for return, should be the boss controlling the pace from the outside.
