Saratoga race 1 - #6 Ogermeister - This Wesley Ward owner and trained gelding has had some high aspirations. After breaking his maiden in state bred company at Belmont, he was shipped abroad to face some of the worlds best at Royal Ascot. He wasn't completely embarrassed, he did finish 15th, but was only beaten 4 1/2 lengths in a cavalry charge.  He was freshened up and returned in the G2 Saratoga Special where he faced some killers. Today, he drops back into NY state bred company, has a serious workout, and should be the main speed taking them gate to wire.
