Aqueduct rc7 - (5 star) #3 Reptilian Smarts - moves back into starter allowance ranks- loves the track and the race has plenty of speed to set up his run. Down the road ...

Gulfstream rc5 - (3 star) #10 Electric Gold - makes 2nd start for Mr Penna (a 38% winning move), should move up with that experience, will be able to stalk the speed from the outside and roll down the stretch for the win.

One more horse of interest - don't know if I'm betting him yet but I will certainly take a look!

At the Fair Grounds in race 6 - #1 Kajiwara makes his debut for Mr Asmussen. What makes him interesting is he was entered and scratched in what is traditionally the premier 2 yr old maiden dash at Saratoga Race Course on Travers Day last year. Just that he was entered in that spot shows the outfit had confidence that he was a nice colt. Owners want to win on the biggest days and Travers day is no exception. Many a special colt has won this baby race over the years. So trainers will point to this race.

For his debut today he breaks from the rail (usually I never bet first time starters from the rail) with only three slow works at Sam Houston . No killers in here - but the choice is yours. If he comes out on the track bouncing like a rubber ball - I'm betting him.
