The best betting card of the season today at Gulfstream Park as value is oozing from everywhere. I don't have a single Pletcher or Mark Casse horse on top today and between them they're running 20+ horses who will all be 7/2 or less.

Once we get past the 4th race, almost anything can happen - and hoping it will, We have some great betting races and very deep maiden contests. Can't wait to play today.

For Saturday I've completely handicapped Gulfstream races 1-12, Santa Anita 7 & 9 plus my first ever selections at Sam Houston Race Course as they have a very nice card to close the day and I've done races 8 & 9.

Gulfstream race 10 - #9 AMI'S MESA - This Josie Carroll trained daughter of versatile sire Sky Mesa comes off a short freshening  after two very impressive victories over the Woodbine Polytrack where she was well bet in both efforts. She makes her 1st start on turf today and I believe it will only make her better. She is bred to excel as her dam was a stakes winner and has already thrown a stakes winner plus she is on her toes for her return and caught Bruno's eye with strong turf work on January 20th. I'm hoping she lights up the board as she's 8/1 on the morning line.
