Derby Dozen List # 7- Mar 16th

Wow -

Big shake up in my Derby Dozen this week. I have a new #1 - but its not Friesen Fire like most peoples new #1's. I also have some newcomers to my Dozen including Win Willy - yes I said Win Willy, and Chocolate Candy.
I was very impressed with the sustained run Win Willy put in to beat Old Fashioned in the Rebel. He galloped out strongly and was very muscled up , he looked like a bulldozer galloping out. The camp turned down $3 million after the race for the son of Monarchos who ran his record to 3 wins in 4 starts.

Here we go - list #7 -

1. I Want Revenge - will prove Gotham was no freak performance, still improving..
2. Friesen Fire - is just getting better and better and love Gabe Saez..
3. Old Fashioned - haven't developed from 2yr old to 3 yr old - yet ....
4. Beethoven - Mr Ward is cranking him up - lookout Florida Derby !!...
5. Theregoesjojo - a horse blossoming at the right time ...
6. Pioneerof The Nile - won't run on dirt till Derby Day...
7. Mr Hot Stuff - i still believe in this colt, the further the better ...
8. Quality Road - might not win at 1 1/4 miles till Travers Day ...
9. Imperial Counsel - still lots to prove ...
10. Win Willy - was impressed by his Rebel , can he back it up ??
11. Papa Clem - held well in the Louisiana Derby- room too improve still..
12. Chocolate Candy - love those Candy Ride's....

That's it - absorb that for a while ...
