We are only as good as the opportunities presented to us and yesterday the races weren't too exciting and that's the way they played out. I had 1 Top Pick Winner adding to my 6 day run of 20/59 Top Pick Winners but we had some unlucky trips, a questionable ride or two (cough, Johnny on Miss Temple City, cough) and got 2nd a few times without threatening the winners.

Saturday has a completely different look to it. There are some deep races, some excellent maiden races, a much more inviting day which will reward us handsomely when correct.

For Saturday I have completely handicapped Saratoga races 1-11 with Pick5, Pick4 and Pick3 wagers suggested + Arlington races 6-10 as they have the Million Turf Festival today so we have an All Turf/Stakes PK5, PK4 & PK3 wagers.

A great day of action, looking to get lucky all day long.

Saratoga race 5 ~ #2 SKY HERO - A co-Best Bet, this Sky Mesa colt comes off long layoff for Casse barn who finally got another win yesterday so maybe the tide has turned. This colt makes his turf debut today and is on his toes as all five works showing this season for this are very sharp, telling me he's been well prepped on a farm prior to shipping into the barn. He should be forwardly placed if not on the lead and take them all the way to the wire.
